Midwest. We mainly will be focused on
the rock / metal events, but well try to include some of the other popular
country / Christian shows as well.

The Comstock
Windmill Festival in Comstock, NE is a 4 day Country Music Fest. It features National and Regional acts
performing from sun up to sun down.
In addition to numerous country acts the Windmill Festival also
features a wide range of Food / Drink Vendors, Marchandise Give-A-Ways and
on site camping.
Camping
can range from $348 for preferred sites that also include 2 four day passes
to 50.00 for general tent sites that are around Ό mile away from the
festival grounds. All site have
free shower house. Additional vehicle passes are also available for around
$25.
Ticket
prices vary from $98 adult four day pass, $38 adult Single Day Pass, Under
12 Children pricing available. Very
reasonable ticket prices considering the quality / quanity of acts that The
Windmill Festival provides. Prices
do rise as event day comes closer.

General Information: The Annual Steamboat Days and Music Festival in Burlington, Iowa
is one of largest and most anticipated festival on the Mississippi River
every year. The music is only a
small portion of this 6 day long event that features activities through out
Burlington including Amusement Park Rides, Running / Biking Competitions, a
wide range of food / Drink Vendors.
This event is held down on the riverfront near the heart of Historic Downtown Burlington.
VIP Access passes have been made available in the past
that allows you access to premium (general admission) areas for an
additional $15. Regular general
admission tickets are available for $40 that covers the entire 6-day even,
which is a great deal for the quality/quantity of acts or $30 for a single
day.
This event features a wide music variety mainly focused
drawing national Rock and Country Acts.
Past performers include Poison, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, The Rock Never
Stops Tour, and numerous national country Acts.

Bash on the Farm is entering its fourth year of operation providing
Christian Based Entertainment with a focus on youth outreach as the
ultimate goal with national, regional and local acts. This free music event features 50+ Bands
on 5 Stages.
Other features to this event include several
sand volleyball courts and inflatable games. This is a family-friendly event for all ages. Past events have included regional favorites

General Information: The June Waterstock
Rock Concert is a one day event that features several national and regional
touring rock acts. 2006 will be the
3rd Year for this event that in addition to great musical acts
features a wide range of Food / Drink Vendors, Merchandise Give-A-Ways,
Tattoo and body artists.
VIP Access pass have been made available in the past
that allow great access to the bands performing as well as a free food tent
and no line bathrooms!!! Tickets for this event typically are available for
around $40.00 day of show, but ticket price deals can always be made day of
event.
Past events have featured: Foreigner, Bret Michaels
of Poison, Skid Row, Great White,
Slaughter,
and LA Guns to name a few of the national acts. Cold Filtered from Des Moines and Paisty Jenny from Nebraska have
appeared at both previous events, with Cold Filtered performing sets at the
second stage between stage changes.

General
Information: The Iowa State fair is 11 days
of one of the nations largest and most successful state fairs. The Iowa State Fair Board works every
year to bring quality entertainment to the Grandstands as well as local and
regional artist to locations scattered throughout the Fair Grounds. Typically the Fair attracts several rock
/ country acts to the Grandstand, past rock acts include, ZZ Top, Kid Rock,
The Wallflowers and Def Leppard.
In
addition to the music the Iowa State Fair provides an Amusement Park,
enough food to feed the entire state, Livestock, and even a Cow made of
Butter. The Grandstand facility is rather dated and there are numerous
partial view seats through out, the grandstand events are almost always
reserve seating so if a band you really want to see is performing at the
fair dont wait to get your tickets, as you will end up in the terrible
seats.
Camping
is available at the Iowa State Fair, rates are not available at this time.

General Information: The annual Z92
Birthday Bash is a one-day event that features several national and
regional touring rock acts. No
event was held in 2005, due to schedule conflicts and the inability to
coordinate quality national acts already committed to shows. Z92 has sponsored this event for several
years and in addition to a full day of music numerous food / drink vendors,
Merchandise Give-A-Ways, tattoo / body artists and inflatable gyms are located
at the site.
Tickets typically run around $40 for a full day of
music. Past Events have featured
Poison, Vince Neil, Skid Row, Sammy Hagar Warrant and Tesla, with local and
regional acts in support.
We dont know at this time if Z-Bash 2006 will happen
or not, but were eager to go again.
