(Thursday) – Please make sure to update your bookmarks to the new web page
address. No other Waterstock Updates at this time we hope to have a few
more confirmations in the next week or so. March 2, 2006
(Thursday) – We’ve been hearing conflicting reports on Dokken
at this years event, anyone out there able to confirm whether or
not Dokken will be playing? March 1, 2006
(Wednesday – PM) – We want to thank everyone who has
check out our page so far and left comments on our myspace page. Please take some time to check out our primary page the Iowa Concert Source, Eastern Iowa’s only complete source for the rock / metal scene, its
updated weekly with all the latest concert happenings as well as providing
band and venue information. Please make sure to check out our Waterstock Rock Forum. Not much in there yet if anything, but a
good place to meet new Waterstock Rock Fans as well

(Wednesday - AM) – We screwed up the link to Night Train and it sent you to a completely different

(Tuesday) – Couple of more confirmations to add Dokken
and Des
Moines based Night Train a Guns and Roses Tribute band are now
scheduled to appear at this years Waterstock Rock. We’ve still been
hearing rumors of
Tesla, but a few people close to event planners say no, so we’ll leave
them up a little longer until we can confirm for sure. We also hope to see at least one more local
/ regional act open. Not really related to
this year’s Waterstock event, but Jackyl (Waterstock
2004) will be at Keyster’s in Urbandale on April 7th.
February 22, 2006
(Wednesday) – We’ve received some confirmation of a couple of the bands
rumored to appear from our February 16, 2006 news update. Poison, Cinderella, Quiet Riot and Cold Filtered are all confirmed to appear. We’ve also heard that Tesla may appear at this years Waterstock, we’ll
continue to work to confirm this. Lazer 103.3 will again put on this years event. They don’t have any information on their
website at this time, but as soon as they do we’ll provide it here. We’ve gone an created a myspace site for Waterstock Rock, just to help as generate some traffic
and get the word out about this great annual event. You can check out our myspace

(Thursday) – We’ve heard some of the first
rumblings of bands to appear at the 2006 Waterstock
Rock Concert. Des Moines based Cold Filtered, Tesla, Cinderella
and Poison with more bands to be announced. Cold
Filtered is a given they’ve played both
previous Waterstock Rock events to a huge response
and played the second stage all night during band changeovers. Cinderella and Tesla are both likely as
they had tour plans this summer. Poison would be huge and likely as Bret Michaels performed at last years event and the crowd
was really into him. Poison is also going to be on tour this summer in support of a new greatest
hits album and their 20 year anniversary. We’ll work to confirm the band announcements in the next couple of
weeks and hopefully be able to provide some more info. December 5, 2005
(Monday) – It’s a New look / format for the Unofficial Waterstock
Rock page. There will not be any new updates to the only page
dedicated to Waterstock Rock until next year around
the first week of March 2006 when Waterstock Plans
start to be made public. Please feel
free to continue to use the Forum to post information and keep in touch with
other Waterstock Fans.
